Linked Gating

Linked Gating (Link Populations) links multiple gates so when you move one gate all those linked with it move in unison. This is useful if there are slight fluctuations in your assay and you need to make minor gating adjustments, particularly if you set requirements for the relative relationship of gates. Linked Gating works with both histograms and plots. You can only link two or more populations on the same histogram or plot. Click and shift-click or control click on the populations in the Settings side bar to select them.

 

As shown in the following GIF, when you select one population and link another population, the linked population turns green.

 

To Unlink gates, right-click on one of the populations. This enables Unlink Populations as shown in the following screenshot.
